The Overall mandate, functions and powers of CSOS
The Community Schemes Ombud Service or CSOS was formed to provide an alternative dispute resolution service and to regulate, monitor and quality assure community schemes governance documents. CSOS’s services extend to both residents and management of sectional titles and homeowners association. As a relatively new organisation, CSOS has had a number of challenges building credibility and navigating the wide variety of rules and policies that govern community schemes.

Join Estate Living, Johlene Wasserman - Governance Manager at CSOS, Zerlinda van de Merwe of TVDM Consultants, who represent Homeowners Associations (HOA) and Bodies Corporate (BC) and Malcolm Samuel General Manager of Simbithi Eco Estate in KZN, as we discuss the overall mandate, functions and powers of CSOS.

The webinar aims to gain a better understanding of processes that influence the timelines around CSOS's services. We will discuss some challenges that HOA’s and BC's encounter with communication received by CSOS. We will also highlight undesirable rules and penalties.

The webinar will include a live Q&A session, so please register to join or receive the recording.
