Previously she worked for a variety of nonprofit, business and social impact organizations. These include 11 years at The Colorado Health Foundation in Denver, where she grew into the role of Vice President of Philanthropy, and 10.10.10, where she served as National Director. 10.10.10 is a project of Colorado Nonprofit Development Center and inspires entrepreneurs to solve 10 “wicked” social problems. Kelly also served as a consultant for businesses, nonprofits and social impact startups as well as projects in Lima, Peru, where she developed her Spanish-language skills. Kelly’s education includes a Bachelor of Arts in English from Miami University, an Elementary Education Licensure from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. Ricki Kelly (Vice President of Philanthropy @Intermountain Healthcare) Ricki provides leadership for SCL Health’s Foundations to engage donors and prospective donors with meaningful involvement and explore with them the best fit for their philanthropic impact. This usually includes facilitating introductions with other donors and friends who will add personal and professional value and when appropriate involves discussions regarding how a person’s generosity can positively impact our patients, providers and facilities. Then, we work to identify the smartest way for the donor to realize the philanthropic impact, which often involves non-cash assets. She previously worked with a very talented team and law school Dean to raise $45 million in new commitments during the course of an eight-year campaign at the Sturm College of Law. Some highlights include: 71 new endowed scholarships, increasing donor-funded scholarship support 4.5 times per student, more than doubling the endowment, a new faculty chair for modern learning, and much, much more!
