Description: This presentation will discuss the tremendous unsung accomplishments of female educators and activists of color who were the driving force and support system for much of America's educational and cultural pillars. African American female educators, in particular, provided educational leadership, direction, and support that gave rise to generations of accomplished African American professionals and activists in Delaware. Listen as three education professionals discuss the valued work of these often overlooked and unknown historical figures.
