Join Don Salmon as he shares his groundbreaking work on sleep.
In Part 1 of this webinar, Don teaches a few basic breathing and relaxation exercises and then participants practice as they listen to "drone" music (music with a continuous underlying sound, like the sruti in Indian music.)
Then in Part 2 Don discusses Sleep and Integral Yoga. Getting to sleep is very much like meditation. Your arrange a peaceful environment, get your body into the ideal relaxed position and then progressively let go of the body, vital and mind, and let go completely into pure open, heartful awareness. Don will discuss more about this state and share information on brain waves, healthy sleep habits and more.
In the last part of the webinar, Don provides an overview of his newly released course: "Wake Up to the Best Sleep Ever", which will be hosted by La Grace Center. An overview of how the course is structured both for the purpose of simply sleeping better and how it can be used as a yogic process.
