Nutritional Therapies for Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease are the two major Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD), which are also autoimmune conditions. IBD affects over three million adults in the US (1.3%), and the incidence is increasing. The human suffering is immense and is matched by the medical costs. Nutritional intervention can provide a truly effective complement to medical intervention, often resulting in improved quality of life and function and often reducing the need for medications as well as overall costs. Furthermore, they may reduce the risk of developing comorbidities.

This webinar is intended to arm you with robust and meaningful knowledge to support your clients / patients who have Crohn’s or Colitis by addressing food choices, improving digestion, supporting mucosal immunity, ensuring optimal healing nutrients, balancing the gut microbiome, and supporting a healthy balance of neurotransmitters and stress hormones. By engaging in an individualized nutritional approach based on researched scientific principles of the understanding of gut immunity and autoimmunity and by improving stress resilience, these approaches can provide the patient with profound means by which they can influence their own health.

We hope you can join us live on March 17th at 10 AM MT. If not, don’t worry, signing up will still grant you access to the webinar recording.
