We’ve helped our clients with the steady stream of DSAR’s since the implementation of GDPR, but in the last few months, our clients are reporting a substantial increase in DSARs, up 1300% since the beginning of the year – that is, requests about the personal information they may be holding. What this may be due to, whether it’s individuals taking stock of what information is out there, an unanticipated consequence of the pandemic, (increase in redundancies, insurance claims, opportunistic), or something else: we can only speculate. What we do know is that these requests can be remarkably time- and resource-consuming, and often tricky to fulfill in the legally mandated timeframes. The odds seem to be increasing that your organization may face this issue soon, so we put this webinar together to help.
We invited Margaret Julian, founder/principal of GDPR Audits, to offer practical information to Compliance, HR, and operations management professionals, along with IT, on dealing with a DSAR. We’ll include a refresher on guidelines for being prepared and what to train staff to look for. We’ll show you how to collect the required information with a quick demo and what a finalized response looks like.
