Terri Schiller
BSC, DVM, DACVS, CCRT @VCA Western Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre University of Calgary – Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Terri Schiller is a graduate of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. After completing her DVM program she went on to do an internship and residency in Raleigh, North Carolina at the College of Veterinary Medicine, North Carolina State University. She is a board certified small animal surgeon and practiced small animal referral surgery for 20 years in the Vancouver area of BC before moving to Calgary in 2011 to join the surgery department of VCA Western Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Centre. Dr. Schiller’s passion for teaching got her involved with the University of Calgary, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 as an instructor in small animal surgery. Currently she splits her time between the veterinary school and Western, providing referral surgical procedures and teaching surgery and communication skills to veterinary students.
