Sirpa Pietikäinen (MEP )
Sirpa Pietikäinen is a Finnish Member of the European Parliament representing European People’s Party (EPP) since 2008, and a former Minister of the Environment of Finland. She is a Member of the Committees on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) and Women’s Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM) and substitute member on the Environment and Public Health (ENVI). Within her work, she seeks to combine her two specialities, that of the environment and economics. Ms Pietikäinen is a strong advocate of a transition to a sustainable finance and served as the lead negotiator on behalf of European Parliament and the EPP group on the first Sustainable Finances legislative initiatives, Disclosure and Taxonomy Regulations as well as on the Parliament&#39;s Own Initiative Report on Sustainable Finance.

Bas Eickhout (MEP )
Bas Eickhout has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009. Eickhout is delegation leader of the Dutch Greens in the Parliament. He is a member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) and a substitute member of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON) and the Committee on Budgetary Control. He is also a member of the Delegation for relations with the People&#39;s Republic of China and a substitute member of the Delegation for relations with the United States. Eickhout was as co-rapporteur in the EP on the Taxonomy Regulation. Eickhout has previously worked with international environmental issues and also co-authored the IPCC report on climate change which received the 2007 Nobel Peace Price.
