GLENNA TOLBERT, MD, QME, FAAPMR and MILLICENT WILSON, MD
DR. GLENNA TOLBERT is a board-certified physician who has specialized in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PMR) and spinal cord injury medicine since 1993. In 2017, named one of the 36-woman physician leaders to know by the Kaiser Family foundation. Dr. Tolbert lectures extensively in both health care facilities and community settings. She has enjoyed numerous appearances. Dr. Tolbert has shown tremendous dedication to her husband of over thirty years and to their three adult sons. DR. MILLICENT WILSON is an Emergency Medicine Physician and a Disaster Training Specialist for the Los Angeles County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Agency. She is a subject matter expert, and provides education, training, and strategic planning in all aspects of bioterrorism and disaster preparedness. Dr. Wilson is one of four, Medical Supervisors for the Los Angeles County Medical Alert Center, serving a county of over 10 million people.
JESSIE LEE SHERROD, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.A.P and KIM N. SIMMONDS, MA, LMFT
Renowned DR. JESSIE LEE SHERROD, board certified Pediatrician, Infectious Disease Specialist, Healthcare Epidemologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. As the first student from Tougaloo College to attend Harvard Medical School, she opened the door to Harvard Medical School for many Tougaloo students. She became an inaugural and the first African American physician inductee into the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Public Health Hall of Fame, for outstanding contributions in Public health. KIM N. SIMMONDS is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Los Angeles, CA. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biological Basis of Behavior from University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.
