Dr. Katie Greenzang
Attending Physician, Pediatric Oncology; Associate Program Director, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship @Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center
Dr. Katie Greenzang is a pediatric oncologist at Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Hospital and Instructor at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Greenzang completed her pediatrics residency and chief residency at Seattle Children’s Hospital, and her fellowship training in pediatric hematology/oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Boston Children’s Hospital. Her research focuses on patient-provider communication and shared decision-making in children with cancer. She is particularly interested in understanding how families consider the short- and long-term effects of cancer therapies when making treatment decisions, and how we can improve communication about late effects of cancer therapy to help patients and families feel more prepared for cancer survivorship.
