M-Cubed is building the region’s diverse talent pipeline. As the Milwaukee’s three urban public education institutions, we are uniquely positioned to lift up students of color and strengthen the entire community as we:
- Connect learning from middle school through college,
- Strengthen successful transitions to college and
- Drive successful completion.
Through a series of virtual events in the 2021-22 academic year, M-Cubed will showcase this important aspect of our shared work.
Our first event is set for November 11 at 10:30 a.m. focuses on Generating College-Level Success in High Schools. Join MPS Superintendent Dr. Keith Posley, MATC President Dr. Vicki Martin and UWM Chancellor Dr. Mark Mone and Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce President Tim Sheehy to learn more about the need to grow and diversify the regional workforce pipeline — and M3’s efforts to address it including its growing College Connections dual enrollment program. M3 College Connections graduates are entering college at a rate higher than the national average and have saved nearly $750,000 in college costs by earning credits while in high school.
Join us! A recording will be available after the event.
