WASHINGTON, DC, October 20, 2020—Environmental Health Trust (EHT), a leading scientific think tank focused on environmental health issues led by Dr. Devra Davis, filed it’s response to the Federal Communications Commission in their landmark challenge to the FCC’s decision not to update its 1996 wireless exposure limits and for it’s refusal to adopt science based cell phone/tower and wireless exposure rules that adequately protect the public from biological effects. Environmental Health Trust et al. v. the Federal Communications Commission is the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. EHT is represented by Ed Myers. The brief was filed jointly with Children’s Health Defense.
The response brief documents how the FCC ignored thousands of published research papers and submissions to the record and instead defended itself with unauthorized outdated industry tied materials along with misrepresentations of the position of government agencies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration of the United States Department of Labor, the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Cancer Institute.
