Presented by Alexander Tun, VMD, DACVIM (Neurology)
Being confronted with a patient showing signs of intracranial disease can be intimidating. This lecture will review the basics of intracranial localization based on the neurologic examination to help restore confidence in the abilities we already have. We will then review some clinically relevant and helpful tips for management of these patients in the emergent setting, with a particular focus on seizures and accessible options for how to help. This lecture will provide the attendees with a solid framework for how to approach these common situations.
