Educator Evaluation Growth Calculations - Made Easy

For the 2022-2023 school year, Michigan school districts are to return to calculating student growth for educator evaluations following the guidelines in the legislation and as provided by the Michigan Department of Education. Calculating student growth for educator evaluations can be challenging, and this year as some students, entire grade levels, and/or buildings do not have student growth percentiles (SGPs) with their state assessment data - it is even more difficult. It is also recognized that the details of how student growth is calculated and attributed can vary from district to district, while still in compliance with the legislation.
