Activating Youth Voice in Program Design, from BUILD.org and the Gates Foundation

BUILD.org presents our first-ever student-led Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) Webinar! The YAP has been working in partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on 3 core questions around how to improve learning experiences for students. Join us to hear from 12 dynamic young people as they present all of the learnings and insights from their work this past year, and share recommendations based on their own individual experiences.

You’ll also discover how to center youth voices in your own work as co-creators for programs, policies, and practices that directly impact youth. Educators, youth workers, funders, students, service providers, and policymakers are all encouraged to attend.

In January 2021, with generous support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, BUILD launched the Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) as part of its systemic change work to advance racial equity by amplifying youth voices and inspiring a diverse new generation of entrepreneurial leaders and changemakers.
