Pitching Remotely for Latinx Female Founders
Join All Raise and Latinas in Tech for a session on how to pitch remotely. Amanda DoAmaral, Founder & CEO of Fiveable who will lead the way as she walks us through her journey of pitching virtually. She will be joined by Lisa Cuesta, Principal at NextGen Venture Partners who will be sharing her perspective as an investor. The workshop will equip founders with guidance for navigating digital engagement with investors, offer questions to anticipate for COVID-era fundraising, and provide best practices for delivering a great remote pitch. We conclude with a Q&A with the panelist.

Amanda DoAmaral is an educator, activist, and the founder of Fiveable - a social learning network for students. She spent a half a decade teaching high school history in Oakland, CA, where her passion for creating equitable educational opportunities was ignited. Amanda has been a vocal advocate for inclusive history curriculum and is active within the Milwaukee tech community.
Lisa Cuesta

Lisa is a Principal at NextGen Venture Partners, a network-driven venture firm that is powered by over 1,400 Venture Partners that support NextGen's portfolio companies. The NextGen portfolio includes consumer and enterprise software companies including Everlywell, Carta, Maven Clinic, and Unsupervised. Lisa launched NextGen Align, focused on investing in early-stage companies driving impact in social inclusion, health and environment at scale. Previously, Lisa worked in strategy and product operations roles at Google. Lisa graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
