LAJFF presents a conversation about building bridges of understanding across race and religion. Experts and activists will discuss the film, "SHARED LEGACIES: The African American-Jewish Civil Rights Alliance."
Join LAJFF on Wednesday, August 26 at 6:00pm PDT (9pm EDT) for a free online conversation with distinguished guests from the film as we engage in a thought-provoking discussion about the critically acclaimed documentary "SHARED LEGACIES".
The Q&A will include director Dr. Shari Rogers, activist Gina Belafonte, Exec Dir of Sankofa.org and daughter of Harry Belafonte, Clarence B. Jones, Martin Luther King's counsel and advisor, Dr. Susannah Heschel, Distinguished Professor and daughter of Abraham Joshua Heschel, and Sherry Frank, co-founder of the Black-Jewish Coalition with Rep. John Lewis, and Lou Gossett Jr., actor/activist and founder of Eracism Fdn, moderated by Michael Berenbaum, Historical Consultant and Exec Dir of the Sigi Ziering Institute at AJU.
