Zero Carbon Whitby & Costing Study Methodology

Municipalities can make deep GHG emissions reductions and realize financial savings by embedding low carbon work into their existing asset management schedules and budgets. Following our workshop from October 2022, we shared the results from the Zero Carbon Whitby & Costing Study (find the webinar recording here). Zero Carbon Whitby is Whitby's Corporate Climate Action Plan - a framework empowering staff to develop and implement GHG reduction actions from the bottom-up, aligning capital and operating budgets with emission reduction targets. In this webinar, SSG will present the methodology and assumptions used in the Study. In addition, we will explore how transferable this method is across municipalities.
