Sustainable sportswear clothing and sporting equipment

The workshop is being facilitated by Professor Martin Charter, Director, The Centre for Sustainable Design, University for the Creative Arts and Yashi Dadhich, Sustainability Consultant and Founder, KAHANI

It will focus on the sportswear and equipment within the game of Cricket. But has a wider context for sports and athletic wear and sporting equipment. We will cover design, manufacture, materials and supply chains to open the dialogue for awareness and understanding of the environmental & social impacts. The speakers will discuss the next steps which could be taken by the sector to address the issue collaboratively . Input from the BASIS Community will be sought in a Q&A session to help continue the ongoing debate.
