CalSavers or 401(k) - Small Businesses Need to Decide

CA state law now requires all businesses with five or more employees to either offer employees a retirement savings vehicle from the private market or facilitate CalSavers.

With the deadline for registering with CalSavers fast approaching, small businesses have an important decision for offering employees a retirement benefit.

Deadline for registering your business:

100 or more employees:  September 30, 2020
50 - 99 employees:  June 30, 2021
5 – 49 employees:  June 30, 2022
