A 1.5 hours learning session on climate change and its impacts. By the end of the session participants will appreciate the need for urgent action to address climate change and would have identified entry points for their engagement at the national, regional and international level.

Day 2, Thur 9 Sept, 3.00-4.30 pm EAT
The session will also provide the participants the opportunity to share their expectation for COP26 which will feed into the African Youth position paper as well as speak to COP27 which will be hosted by an African country.

Day 3, Fri 10 Sept, 3.00-4.30 pm EAT

A 1hr 30 mins session dedicated to the launch of African Youth position paper for COP26 as well as the online launch of youth Eco-Smart project book. Participants are expected to also receive a resource pack and information that will be useful for their further engagement in the climate change processes.
