Join us online for a Cumberland Conversation with the documentary filmmaker, writer and photographer Sue Carpenter on Thursday 13 May at 6.00pm.
Sue will be talking to our Chief Executive, Ed Newell, about her experiences of supporting disadvantaged women and girls in Nepal, her work as director of Tideturner Films, which makes independent documentaries about social injustice, particularly in terms of women’s rights, and about her acclaimed new film, 'I Am Belmaya'.
This Conversation takes the format of an informal conversation on Zoom, with participants watching off-camera, and an open question-and-answer session at the end. It is a free event, as part of our regular Cumberland Conversations series, and everyone is welcome.
