We will examine the 'who, what, and why' associated with coercive control, as well as the following topics: -The Pink Flags of Coercive Control – identifying the subtle indicators that may suggest coercive control is occurring -Silence and Bombing Techniques – exploring why these methods are so effective in establishing and maintaining power and control -Case Study – showcasing the effects of this insidious abuse on older people Whether you’re a community member, advocate or professional working in elder abuse prevention, you’ll find Shawnee's insights from this project extremely valuable. See below for a little bit about Shawnee.
