At 23 years old, Vidal “Vidalito” Lopez is a bilateral amputee who against all odds followed his dream of becoming a NASCAR driver in Mexico. Filmmaker Amanda Sarabia knew this was a story she had to tell, as a way to elevate the voices of and expand representation among Latino & disabled communities and share how inclusivity in sports marketing pays dividends. Vidalito's racing career has flourished through key sponsorships and state-of-the-art prosthetic technology, to which not everyone has access or can afford. Join us for this webinar where we will hear Vidalito's inspiring journey and explore themes of health equity and intersectionality, as he continues to change the narrative surrounding what people with disabilities can do and how far--or fast--they can go.
