Denise Calle is a bilingual Associate Attorney with Diaz Trade Law. She assists U.S. and foreign manufacturers, distributors, and importers, with a range of import compliance, regulatory compliance, and enforcement matters involving U.S. Customs, the Food and Drug Administration, Consumer Product Safety Commission, and other federal agencies. Denise provides pre-compliance advice on proposed import transactions and advocates for clients in federal enforcement administrative actions. She is a published co-author for Bloomberg Law and the Florida Bar and has been quoted in the press on the topic of importing tobacco products. Denise has developed and presented customized trainings focused on the Trade War with China, Intellectual Property Rights, Dietary Supplements, and more.
Domenic Veneziano

Domenic J. Veneziano is an Independent FDA Regulatory and Strategic Consultant with Diaz Trade Law. A 24 year veteran of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS), Domenic served as the Director of FDA’s Import Operations and Policy with prominent roles in the oversight of FDA’s National import operations program, including the development and implementation of FDA’s Targeting System PREDICT and the Import trade communication system (ITACS), the integration of Customs and Border Protections Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) with FDA’s systems, and the new Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and Food and Drug Safety and Innovations Act. He has testified in federal court and before Congress, has initiated and approved enforcement actions, has represented the FDA for media inquiries, he represented FDA on the Automated Commercial Environment/International Trade Data System board of directors and the Border Interagency Executive Council.
