Racism has been the underside of America throughout our history. The manner with which we have treated Racism has led to our current moment. How we acknowledge and confront Racism today will have a major impact on our future. This means examining our institutional challenges, class struggles, and more, important, ourselves.

Professors Alec Vitale and David Troutt will get us moving to address racism as a systemic issue and offer solutions.
David Troutt is a Professor of Law at Rutgers University Law School and the Director of Center on Law, Inequality, and Metropolitan Equity. Ian is the Chief Justice Warren Professor of Law at the University of California/Berkeley, a Senior Fellow at Demos and author of “Dog Whistle Politics” and more recently, “Merge Left: Fusing Race and Class, Winning Elections and Saving America”. Ian is also Director of Racial Politics Project, Haas Institute for a Fair and Inclusive Society.
Alex Vitale is a Professor of Sociology at Brooklyn College, a frequent contributor to major media plus numerous appearances on NPR and other radio/TV programs. He was recently interviewed by the Atlantic Monthly for their July issue.
