At a time when increasing numbers of office-based employees work in tall, supertall and megatall buildings, both in the UK and globally, and when there have been recent tragedies from fire in tall buildings, notably the London residential building Grenfell Tower, it is essential that the best means of preventing fire, and accidents and death from fire, in tall buildings are understood.
Based on a report commissioned by the BCO this webinar examines the main issues influencing fire safety in tall office buildings. Its aim is to highlight issues needing attention in order to prevent fires, and to ensure safety in case of a fire in offices in tall buildings. It is intended to be of interest and value to all those involved directly or indirectly in the development, design, construction, management and use of tall, supertall and megatall office buildings, and to those involved in fire prevention and fire-fighting.
