Applicants and members of the general public are invited to attend the public panel review meeting for 2021-2022 Special Projects Grants.
During this meeting, grant panelists will discuss each application for up to 10 minutes. All panelists review and score applications using an established rubric in advance of the meeting, but the public deliberations provide an opportunity for panelists to hear each other's perspectives, and for applicants to hear specific, valuable feedback on their proposals. Note that there is no interaction between panelists and applicants, and all attendees will be set to listen-only mode.
Once all applications have been discussed, panelists will enter a closed session to review the final ranking of applicants from highest to lowest average score and to determine their funding recommendations. The public will be invited to re-enter the meeting around 3:45pm to see the panel's recommendations.
