This first Sustainability During Crisis Knowledge Network session, exclusively for SFTA members, focuses on the safety and health of our members and their communities. Topics will cover employee, supply chain, and customer safety protocols in these days of COVID-19 and public demonstration. Safety expert Betsy Kaesontae of SFTA member NSF International will open the discussion with a brief introduction of pandemic safety protocols that have emerged over the last several weeks. Participant companies will then have the opportunity to discuss the safety protocols they have developed for their employees, customers, and/or supply chain partners. Discussion will be sure to highlight what has worked—and what hasn’t—with the goal of spreading best practices and identifying collaborative improvements that can be made between supply chain sectors. This initial session will also identify other topics they would like to discuss outside of the topics already identified.
