Course Description:
Join us to celebrate Telehealth Awareness Week with a webinar that will focus on maximizing opportunities for patients to receive sexual and reproductive health care via telehealth. While telehealth services provided via phone have become widely available, video services are less prevalent and many barriers remain to providing access to this modality. Other challenges exist for providing telehealth services to patients with limited English proficiency. Thoughtful workflow design is instrumental in ensuring that patients have every opportunity to obtain care via video, and that patients in need of translation services can be provided those services during a telehealth visit. Practical advice about creating and implementing effective workflows will be discussed, and lessons learned from California’s statewide Title X family planning network will be shared.

Who Should Attend:
• Clinic managers
• Quality improvement staff
• Information technology staff
• Providers

After this session, participants will be able to:
• Identify steps for designing workflows to assist patients in accessing telehealth care via video
• Describe ways to modify workflows to incorporate translation services
• Name specific workflow changes they can make to ensure more equitable access to telehealth services
