Building a Better Record - Good Practices for Local Board Decisions

This session is intended for elected officials, appointed decision-makers, local planning & zoning board members and their staff, and the public.

Participants will be guided through an efficient process of adopting a land use decision utilizing facts and documentation as a basis. Best practices, legal requirements, tried and true recommendations, and court-tested methods of achieving a fair and well-considered decision will be explained and discussed.
