From issues within global supply chains to shortcomings of international organizations, the global COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted gaps and challenges in the international system. Canada has not been immune to these impacts. These disruptions and challenges caused by the outbreak of COVID-19 spur the question of whether Canada should reassess Canadian foreign policy as well as what is in the national interest in a post COVID-19 world.
