Gary Hanson has over 35 years Safety, Workers’ Compensation, Benefits and Risk Management experience, including six years with Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, six years with Firestone Tire and Rubber, and ten years with Dairy Mart. He has extensive background in all areas of Safety and Risk Management, and has achieved an outstanding record of injury and workers’ compensation cost reduction. Gary is active as a speaker and writer and has spoken on the local, state and national level. In 1990 Gary co-founded American Safety & Health Management Consultants, Inc. (ASH). ASH is currently the largest independent safety consulting company in Ohio. Currently, ASH has over 120 active clients and is the safety consultant for a number of state associations including Ohio Concrete.
