Noel Thomas
CEO @Zero Trafficking
Noel Thomas is the CEO Zero Trafficking and serves as the Chairman of the Technology Subcommittee for the Orlando Human Trafficking Task Force. He is the former Statewide Anti-Trafficking Coordinator for the Florida Department of Children Families. He is a subject matter expert on transnational organized crime and open-source intelligence. Noel's career has consisted of managing the development of counter-trafficking technology, writing detailed analysis briefs, gathering trafficking intelligence, coordinating intelligence for raids, developing pilot programs, researching deep web trafficking, educating specialists on terror/trafficking networks, training technical fields for identification, interfacing with federal law enforcement, and working with state and federal legislators.
Tom Meehan, CFI
With over 20 years of retail security and technology experience, Tom is a recognize LP, retail technology, cybersecurity and FinTech expert. He is the chief strategy officer and chief information security officer at CONTROLTEK, where he leads the company’s solutions development strategy and retail-specific strategic initiatives, while championing information security technologies and protocols for CONTROLTEK and its partners. His industry influence is also present through his roles as Retail Technology editor at LP Magazine and the co-host of the LPRC podcast CrimeScience. Prior to joining CONTROLTEK Tom was director of technology and investigations with Bloomingdale’s, where he was responsible for physical security, internal investigations, ap systems and data analytics. Prior to his 13-year tenure at Bloomingdale’s, he worked for Home Depot in LP, and has had various technology, LP, and operational roles at several other companies.
