Developing a new friendship / relationship with someone often starts with finding something you have in common, building a sense of trust, and having time and experiences together.
One of the ways to deepen a relationship is to share personal life stories. When you are talking with people of a different generation how do you get the conversation started? What do you ask? How do you create a safe space so someone feels comfortable sharing their life stories with you?
During this workshop we'll discuss the strategies and techniques SilverKite uses to help participants develop skills for doing an oral history and creating intergenerational conversations.
Facilitated by SilverKite Founder & CEO Jen Kulik, Ph.D.
