Hon. Roberto Rodriguez Arnillas
Ambassador of Peru to Canada
Roberto Rodriguez is a career diplomat in the Peruvian Foreign Service since January 1990 and has currently the rank of Ambassador of Peru to Canada since June 29th, 2018. During his career developed in Peru, he has been senior advisor for Foreign Affairs at the Office of the President (2016-2018), prior to that position was Chief of Staff of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2015-2016) and was part of the advisor’s team at the cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs (2014-2015).
Hon. Ralph Jansen
Canadian Ambassador to Peru
Ralph Jansen (BA Hons [Political Science, French], York University 1985; MSc [International Relations], London School of Economics, 1986) joined the Department of External Affairs in 1988. At Headquarters, he served in the International Economic Policy Bureau, Regional Strategy and Services Division, Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, various geographic divisions, and most recently, as director general, evaluation and results.
Rafael Ugaz Vallenas
Executive Director of PROINVERSION
Economist from Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, with an MBA in Finance and Economics and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago. He has 20 years of national and international experience in infrastructure projects, Public Private Partnerships (PPP), construction, mining, banking, and project finance. In last 10 years, Ugaz has held management positions at Bechtel Enterprises (BEn), the Bechtel Group project, investment and financing development unit.
