UK Deaf Leadership Summit with John Adair.
Welcome to our UK Deaf Leadership Summit! This is the third year we have been running these events to inspire great leadership and leadership for good.

This event is also part of the International Leadership Week #ILW23 organised by The Institute of Leadership and Management.

This year we are delighted to announce that our first guest on Wednesday 22nd March, will be John Adair, one of the world's leading authorities on leadership and leadership development!

John is a teacher of leadership and an author of 50 books, which have been translated into 18 languages. He has been Honorary Professor of Leadership at the China Executive Leadership Academy in Shanghai and Chair of Leadership Studies at the United Nations Staff College in Turin.

We have been granted one special lunch-hour with John who will speak for a few minutes about leadership and then we will open the floor to you, our audience to put your questions to John directly!

You might want to query or clarify something you have read or learnt from John's work or you may want to seek his advice on something you need help with.

Our live webinars are fully accessible to deaf and hearing audiences, we will have captioning and sign language interpreting and voice-over throughout.

John Adair
Author and teacher of Action-Centred Leadership @Adair Leadership
John Adair is best known for his three-circle model of Action-Centred Leadership and is regarded as the UK's foremost authority on leadership and leadership development. John believes that leadership can be taught and that it does not depend on a person's traits and that it is a transferable skill. He has written over 40 books and more than a million managers have taken part in his Action-Centred Leadership programmes. Deaf & Hearing Trailblazers CIC, one of today's main hosting partners, are accredited to deliver Action-Centred Leadership training because the ideas remain practical and relevant to all managers and leaders no matter where there working environment is. A prolific thinker, his academic achievements have included Master of Letters from Oxford University and a Doctorate of Philosophy from King's College London. He became the world's first professor of Leadership Studies at the University of Surrey and has held other international academic positions.
