Public Benefits Eligibility for Immigrants

This two-hour webinar aimed at supporting MA-based service providers will discuss how immigration status affects eligibility for benefits for non-citizen immigrants and refugees - TAFDC, SNAP, and MassHealth and other subsidized health programs - and will include an overview of the "public charge" rule that describes which benefits could impact an individual's status in the United States.

Each presentation will be followed by a brief Q&A session. We ask that you please limit questions to the presenters and presentation material and will follow up with additional resources regarding either during or after the presentation. Lastly, please note that we are unable to answer case-specific questions regarding individual clients.

This training is being provided in partnership with the Massachusetts Law Reform Institute, Health Law Advocates, and the City of Boston Mayor's Office for Immigrant Advancement (MOIA).
