GOD KNOWS WHERE I AM documents the story of Linda Bishop, a well-educated New Hampshire mother who suffered from severe bipolar disorder with psychosis. Linda Bishop was intermittently incarcerated and homeless and was committed to a state psychiatric facility for three years. In tackling the subject matter, the filmmakers began from a social justice perspective, but their focus quickly shifted to a more intimate and artistic exploration. Hailed as “remarkably moving,” by the Los Angeles Times, and “haunting and uncommonly artful,” by theHollywood Reporter. GOD KNOWS WHERE I AM is a New York Times Critic’s Pick, and a must-watch documentary.
