He is a Certified Digital Marketing Trainer for a US shopping platform, and has helped numerous business enterprises to create higher revenue to their businesses by managing the flow of customers. He is the Chairman (Digital Transformation Chapter) of the Singapore Digital Chamber of Commerce (SGDCC). Benjamin Chong (Managing Director @Next Level SG Pte Ltd) Benjamin Chong and his consultancy team have helped businesses from SMEs to listed companies. The Next Level SG team has consulted with over 200 companies in digital marketing and driving revenue through e-commerce. Next Level SG is a Meta Business Partner, and Shopee Certified Live Stream Partner. Next Level SG is also a Pre-approved vendor partnering with IMDA and Enterprise Singapore to transform and drive growth in the SME sector through digital marketing, and has trained over 1,500 employees and individuals through their SkillsFuture credit approved programme. Rodney Yap (Co-Founder @Usertip Pte Ltd) Rodney Yap has represented Singapore in the New York finals at the inaugural 2018 Global Legal Hackathon. As Usertip’s director, Rodney takes on the role of CEO and sales lead. Over the course of his career, Rodney has specialised in closing enterprise software sales ranging from CRM to accounting softwares. Being called to the Singapore Bar, Rodney is also able to understand the requirements for certain areas of law and how the legal operations of businesses need to cater for certain situations. Kenny Tay (CEO @Singapore Digital Chamber of Commerce Foundation) Kenny Tay handles strategic matters and operations for SGDCC, including managing membership, government agencies communication, solution providers programmes and activities. Following a spell at American Express in a strategic marketing position to handle attrition, he began his journey as an entrepreneur, with a trading and marketing company dealing with businesses in Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. In 2007, seeing an opportunity in the consulting industry, he founded a company to assist organisations with their overseas expansion, while improving productivity. Kenny is also the District Chairman of Lions Club of Singapore, Honorary Chairman for Singapore Transport Association, Vice-Chairman of Entrepreneur’s Club (Singapore) and Board Member of Entrepreneur Co-Operative Limited. Kannan Chandran (Publisher @E-Quill Media Pte Ltd) Kannan Chandran started off as a newspaper journalist, reporting on the media industry as it shifted from print to other platforms. As the Managing Editor of Magazines Inc, he worked with teams of colleagues and principals in the region to publish a stable of magazines, including The Peak and other lifestyle and business publications for organizations like American Express, Singapore Airlines, Mercedes-Benz and the Inchcape Group. In 2000 he started E-Quill Media, working on publications for various corporations like Chevron, INSEAD, InterContinental Hotels Group, and BMW. He launched the award-winning STORM magazine in 2009 offering various perspectives on current issues. In late 2016, STORM went fully digital, and as STORM-ASIA.COM it continues to comment on issues through articles and events, like the regular twice-monthly WED WEB CHAT. Kannan has been decorated by the government of Chile. He also helped establish Mensa (Singapore).
