The Australian Mass Participation which generates over 5 billion dollars annually for our economy is crumbling before our very eyes. Without immediate support from The Australian Government we are facing a bleak future for the 3.4 million Australians this industry supports to get active each and every year.
For the upcoming webinar we will be joined by Australian legends of the Mass Participation industry, Robert de Castella, Steve Moneghetti, Benita Willis, Wayne Hickson and James Kaan from the Indigenous Marathon Foundation to make a stand for our struggling community of events in Australia as we seek Government acknowledgment and funding to help save our future.
So far this year our industry has seen over 19,000 events cancelled, 11,000 jobs lost and over 75M charities not able to go ahead. The time for action is now.
This webinar will focus on three key areas of discussion including tourism, jobs and mental health. We will also have time allocated for questions at the end.
Given the media interest in this webinar we do recommend that you send through your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org in advance.
