Art History Series: The Dark Art of Caravaggio
Let's learn about the life and works of Italian Baroque painter, Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio (1571-1610). Despite being commissioned by the church, his religious images were often violent paralleling his life. He is most known for his innovative techniques painting light and shadow. Program geared for adults.

Sarah Burris (Artist and Librarian at Bay County Public Library) has both her Master of Library and Information Science and Master of Fine Arts from Kent State University. A different Art History topic will be scheduled each month.
