People all around us are facing mental health challenges and yet, as the Church, we struggle to know how to journey with them through it. What does it look like to demonstrate the Gospel by making space for and welcoming those with mental health challenges?
During this webinar, we will be discussing what Jesus teaches us about mental health, how we can support those with mental illness or mental health challenges, and how caring for mental health is part of God’s redemptive plan.
Shaila Visser, National Director of Alpha Canada, will be joined by Dr. John Swinton, Chair in Divinity and Religious Studies at the School of Divinity, History, and Philosophy, University of Aberdeen and Sanctuary Ambassador, as well as Daniel Whitehead, CEO of Sanctuary Mental Health Ministries for this important and timely discussion.
