FEMALE PIRATES with Dr Rebecca Simon
Most violent attacks of piracy on other ships in order to plunder cargo have mainly been carried out by men. However, accounts of female pirates date back thousands of years. Some had to hide their identities and dress as men to be allowed on board ship, some married pirates, while others were great leaders of pirate ships in their own right.

Please join Dr Rebecca Simon and Jibunnessa Abdullah for the history and dramatic tales of female piracy.
