Alisdair Luxmoore
Founder & Chief Executive Officer @Vamoos
Entrepreneur and travel expert, Alisdair co-founded Vamoos in 2014 having identified a niche in the market following 10+ years running the tour operator, Fleewinter. He also built and manages the hotel Rebali Riads in Morocco, and founded Super Yacht Holidays, a fleet of four yachts offering luxury holidays afloat in the Greek Islands.
Tony Walker
General Manager @Slieve Russell Hotel
Tony has been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years and is GM of the Slieve Russell Hotel, Golf & Country Club, a position he has held for twenty years. A graduate of the University of Ulster, throughout his career Tony held management positions with Jury’s Hotel Group, Nuremore Hotel, Whites Hotel and the Brandon Hotel. Following a number of years with the Jury’s Hotel Group, Tony moved to London where he gained extensive experience working in a number of roles with the Thistle Hotel Group and the prestigious Park Lane Hotel. Tony’s expertise includes a number of extensive hotel renovation projects. During his tenure, Tony and the team at Slieve Russell have achieved a number of impressive awards including a Gold Service Excellence Award, IHF Quality Employer of the Year Award and most recently the hotel received a five-star accreditation from the EFQM. Tony is presently the Vice President of the IHF and also chair of the Cavan Tourism Forum.
Olivia Cannon
Owner @Cannon Consulting
Olivia Cannon has over 23 years of experience in the hospitality sector driving strategic growth and product visibility for leading organisations and holds a degree from NUI Maynooth, together with a post-graduate diploma in Public Relations. She began her hospitality career with Ovation Global DMC in 1999 where she worked in event and conference management. She then started her hotel career in 2002 with a group sales and marketing management role at The Gresham Hotel Group before joining Tifco Hotels as Director of Sales & Marketing at Clontarf Castle Hotel. From there she joined Fitzpatrick Lifestyle Hotels (The Morgan & The Beacon hotels) as Group Director of Sales & Marketing before starting her own boutique marketing consultancy in 2009 which she successfully runs to this day. Cannon Consulting specialises in PR & Marketing and works with many illustrious hotels and resorts in Ireland and Europe including the magnificent Castle Leslie Estate.
