Niklas Meine
Marketing Segment Manager @Covestro
Dr. Niklas Meine is responsible for Industrial Marketing for Electronics, Electrical, Appliances in Europe, Middle East and Africa in the Polycarbonates segment at Covestro. He joined Covestro in 2012 and worked in different departments in Germany and Belgium. Niklas has over 12 years’ experience in polymers innovations and green chemistry, thereof more than 8 years industrial experience in marketing, strategy and R&D. He is an advocate for sustainable and social entrepreneurship, with strong experience in polycarbonates, polyurethanes, bio-based chemicals & polymers, circular economy, EV charging and material solutions for IoT/5G applications. His dedication are meaningful innovations that drive the UN SDGs, support Nature protection and improve the co-living of humans and animals. Niklas studied chemistry in Berlin, Granada and Cambridge and performed his PhD at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung
Frederik Kerstholt
Technical Product Manager @Covestro
Frederik Kerstholt studied materials science at the RWTH Aachen and holds a masters degree. Focus points during his studies were reinforced plastics either with thermoset or thermoplastic matrix. After graduation in 2014 Frederik started work at an automotive Tier as a development engineer for fiber reinforced springs for light trucks. After almost 2 years he switched to a manufacturer of industrial electrical equipment and worked as a material consultant and testing expert focusing on engineering plastics for injection molding mainly. Following the transition to Covestro Frederik works in the product technology group as a material expert for materials used in EE&A applications; mainly flame retarded PC and PC/ABS Blends. His responsibilities are technical material support for the European EE&A market including EVSE.
