Lactation accommodation is a protected right, but what about during a pandemic? COVID-19 doesn't absolve employers from the legal mandate to accommodate the needs of lactating workers. It requires additional considerations to protect the safety of employees who share lactation spaces. Join us for a webinar that addresses the intersection of lactation accommodation laws and CDC guidelines on infection prevention. We will discuss how the law defines lactation spaces, creative strategies for working with break-time challenges, COVID-19 safety considerations and how to fully support lactating employees.
After the webinar, attendees will be able to:
1) Describe what constitutes a workplace lactation accommodation
2) Integrate current CDC guidelines to develop safe workplace lactation spaces
3) Use tools to start a best practice lactation accommodation program
