Andre studied Mechanical Engineering in Bochum, Sheffield and RWTH Aachen and graduated in Aeronautical Engineering with a Diploma Thesis at German Aerospace Centre Braunschweig. After graduation he worked as researcher at the Institute for Structural Mechanics and Lightweight at RWTH Aachen leading a project to design modular spacecraft systems. During his PhD he developed a methodology to design adhesive joints. In his current role at Saint-Gobain he is leading the simulation activities to support the design of NORGLIDE® and SPRINGLIDE™ bearings.
Graham Ellis
Global Segment Developer Interior @Saint-Gobain
Graham is a qualified Mechanical Engineer that has worked in the automotive industry for nearly 30 years. Graham has held several positions in Production and Process Engineering management, after which took Graham into Quality Manager for a major UK Tier 1 structural plastics supplier. Since then Graham has held various commercial/sales roles in both local, European and Global 1st and 2nd tier suppliers. In Graham’s current role has a global overview for the development and marketing of the interior segment of Saint-Gobain Bearings, NORGLIDE®, SPRINGLIDE™ and RENCOL® tolerance ring business.
