Dr. Joe Griffin
D.D.S. @Corner Stone Dental Arts, Knoxville TN
Dr. Griffin completed his undergraduate degree from The University of Tennessee-Knoxville. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UT-Memphis, graduating with honors. He has subsequently received extensive specialized training in dentistry, including: Implant fixture placement and advanced bone grafting procedures from the Midwest Implant Institute One-year externship program on implant placement Training at the Medical University of South Carolina in advanced soft-tissue and bone grafting Residency in conscious sedation at the University of Alabama at Birmingham; ACLS certification; oral and IV sedation certification from Tennessee State Board of Dentistry. V Sedation, dental implants, pinhole surgical technique and soft-tissue and bone grafting are Dr. Griffin’s areas of focus. Dr.Griffin is also as a faculty member of the Midwest Implant Institute and director of MII Tennessee.
Yomi Robotic- Assisted Dental Surgery System
Indication
Yomi® is the first and only FDA-cleared robot-assisted dental surgery system. Yomi is a computerized navigational system intended to provide assistance in both the planning (pre-operative) and the surgical (intra-operative) phases of dental implantation surgery. The system provides software to preoperatively plan dental implantation procedures and provides navigational guidance of the surgical instruments. Yomi is intended for use in partially edentulous and fully edentulous adult patients who qualify for dental implants.
