Best Practices for Reunification of Runaways
At least 2% of all foster youth are identified with a "runaway status" nationally. Most children who run away from foster care do return or are found though, and females are more likely to run away than males. Has your CASA youth ran away, or do they have a history of doing so? Do you want to learn ways to best support them when reunified? Join VOICES and Director of the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center, a program of Zero Abuse Project, Alison Feigh, as she discusses how to best support youth after they return to their placement after running away. This webinar specifically includes the expert opinions and best practices of counselors, law enforcement, and victim assistance specialists to promote confidence for CASA volunteers who have reunited or plan to reunite with their CASA youth after running away. Bring all your questions!
